Sermons Focus on Living a Christ-centered Life in our World Today

Pastor Mark and Pastor Bo want you to know the sermon topics that are coming between now and September. They will continue to reflect the questions you posed to us last November. A large number of them had at their heart the challenge of how to live a Christ-centered life in the midst of a morally messy world.

The framework for their preaching will be two New Testament writings. Pastor Mark will be preaching from the Corinthians letters, investigating subjects such as the following: the process of influencing people toward Christ, the believer's freedom, how to relate to our culture, living a pure life, and the diversity and unity of the body of Christ.

Whereas Corinthians spoke about specific issues in a local church, Ephesians reflects on the nature of the Church. Pastor Bo will be preaching from Ephesians and will investigate subjects such as the following: making known the mystery of the gospel, election, the unity of all things, the dwelling place of God on earth, and the good works the Church was created to do.
