-The meaning of the original inspired biblical text can be distorted in our English versions of scripture by a variety of factors, such as language, culture, transmission and translation.  Using examples from scripture, we will survey how an awareness of these factors can contribute to our interpretation of scripture and lead to a deeper and richer understanding of God's Word.
