Kairos means time. More specifically, it means the present time or a present opportunity. The singles community at BVBC is:

A community of dynamic singles glorifying God by living as followers of Christ, actively applying His Word and sharing His love with people in the Delaware Valley.

This philosophy of following Christ, sharing His love and applying His Word, is lived out personally by encouraging one another, sharing life in small groups, attending Sunday morning classes, doing service projects, ministering to the church as a whole, and having fun together.

Worship Services
The 11:15 contemporary Worship Service is populated by many singles. All four services (8:30, two at 10:00, 11:15 a.m.) feature the preaching of the Word and worshipful music.

Missions Ministries
The team of people who coordinate our local and cross-cultural ministries has a wide range of service opportunities from which you can choose. College students, young adults and singles are often involved in local as well as international outreach efforts. Lately, some of these outreaches have taken us to Indonesia, Ukraine, Hungary, Morocco, Estonia, and Peru.

Music Ministries
The Singles Worship Team leads worship at 10:00 on Sunday mornings in the KAIROS meeting in the west wing. The Worship Choir leads worship in both the 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. services. The 10:00 and 11:!5 worship service features worship teams and a praise band.  Instrumentalists, a handbell choir and an orchestra are featured on various Sundays. All of these groups are open to those involved in KAIROS.

Other Ministries
Singles volunteer in the children's and youth ministries and also serve as greeters and ushers, etc.

Media Library
Books, CDs, cassette tapes including Pastor Bo's sermons, and videos are available for check out. This resource center is located in the west wing upstairs.
